Laura McEwen, Vice President and Publisher, joined Teen Vogue in February, 2008. Previously, she served as Associate Publisher and Advertising Director of Vogue.
In her pre-Condé Nast career, Ms. McEwen was Vice President, Publishing Director of Reader’s Digest where she oversaw a division of 100 employees and served as a key member of the team that launched Everyday with Rachael Ray. Before moving to Reader’s Digest, she ran the advertising sales and marketing for YM Magazine and YM.com.
In her career, Ms. McEwen also directed the advertising, sales and marketing of New Woman, first as Advertising Director, and then as Associate Publisher. She was also Vice President, Associate Publisher for Harper’s Bazaar.
Previous publishing experience includes Snow Country and Family Circle, and LA Style.
Ms. McEwen is an active member of Cosmetic Executive Women, Fashion Group International, and was previously a member of New York Women in Communications and the Ad Council.
She is a Fordham University graduate.
Ms. McEwen lives in Wilton, CT with her son, Sean and husband, James.
